I have to ask Dan, why would you go away from an Exedy when you have had such good luck with it???

i said why.
mainly because i want to avoid this clip failure i here about. i want to go from the factory push to the pull type clutch. or the other way around. whitch ever stock is not. lol.

also because i here the QM is/was better then the exedy twin and triple.

The exedy is a more aggressive clutch, not quite as good on the street as the exedy triple IMO, I think the quartermaster usually wears out quicker, has more aggressive engagment, etc. But how the QM is a push style is very nice. I gave up my exedy because I had issues with it and switched to Quartermaster and it has been very good.

it's very easy to live with how it is more aggressive on the street once ya get used to it. IMO

Evodan - I don't think any clutch is ready for YOU j/k

Now that you have expressed the way you drive and what you consider acceptable i'd say for performance the QM will treat you right.

Now as far as longevity goes i can give you no help as i have yet to get to end of this clutch life.

Hard to compare a sprung hub set-up to one that's not .......not exactly a direct comparison.

Why not just rebuild your Exedy and then throw in the AMS conversion to the hydraulic tob push style?

i was gonna do that but 1200 for the swap +550 for rebuild = 1750.00
QM i was told was 1400.00 and is stronger and will fit my car much better/longer with my up coming setup.

sigh. you know i was like this when i got the exedy twin too. HAHA.
im going to make a thread and get some info i need to help me make up my damn mind.

thanks alot patrick. and good luck with your setup.
