Seeing as nobody else is going to chime in here.

I figured out the issue. This is for a 6 speed, the six speed needs the Devo/Quartermaster conversion kit for the 6 speed. The conversion sleeve is available.

Make sure to get ahold of me on aim so we can fix this!

Take care.

They spoke with me, and I helped guide them, along with a friend to do the install.

I believe they have already been driving the car around.

Yea they have. Which isn't good because someone told them to just set the Hydrolic TOB in there. Which is not good. Its just rocking around in there and without the adapter the TOB doesn't sit flush. It sits on a 15 degree angle which is bad.

I'm sure Adam #2 Will chime in here.

Is there any special tools required to install this clutch? Someone told me that I should stick with the stock clutch line cause it will be easier to slip... can anyone give some advice? I am pretty sure everyone gets a stainless steel clutch line when upgrading their clutch...

The lines on the Hydro bearing are stainless and it goes directly to the stock rubber line from the cmc.

the owner of the car called quartermaster, they told him that the TOB can just be floating around in there, but it will be fine lol.

i drove the car a lot the past few days and everything is perfect, just needs a stopper pedal

You said the shifting is notchy.

I'm a wholesaler for quartermaster, and they told me alot different. They gave me the part number and pricing for the conversion.

shifting was notchy because the pedal wasn't adjusted right
i spoke with quartermaster directly and he said some tobs float some are bolted in, he said mine will just float
he also told me how to adjust the pedal
pedal is all adjusted and it drives perfect
i just need a pedal stopper
other then that its perfect

Alright, well because it was installed without an adapter. Premature wear on the pressure plate might be present!

Let me know how it goes. I highly recommend getting the adapter kit.

If you are putting a QuarterMaster into a 6 sped you have gone mad.. pretty sure the trans wont last to long seeing how 6 speeds are already junk to begin with
