610awhp@32psi.. E-85

Well we got the car back on the dyno this weekend and resolved an issue i was having with it breaking up and not running right in the mid range 4-6k rpm's..

After litterally going through the entire car trying to figure out why it was missing we found out there was a bad cam angle sensor.. fixed that and got it tuned up!!

The car made and held 600hp from basically 6500rpms to 8500rpms (which is all we were reving it to on the dyno) at 8200 it peaked just slightly 610.. but only feel back off to 605 at 8500.. I'm pretty happy with it.. The turbo XS boost controller was maxed out at 32 psi.. I'm going to put a halman on it on wednesday and see if i can get it up to 35-38psi..

I wanted to say thanks to Lucas, Nathan, Brian and the entire CarzPerformance crew for ALL the help this weekend it was truely a long process to find such a dumb thing.. My friends Steve and Shane who helped me out A TON!!! Thank you guys..

Should have some new track time on Saturday.. Went 10.53@131 a few weeks ago but obviously the power was down at the top end.. as it was braking up at the top.. So the goals are still the same i want to beat the 10.53 e.t and beat the 134 mph best from before with out nitrous.. Then eventually get the boost up to 40+ and shoot for 9.999...

Thanks guys...

Basically the symptoms were the car would pop and sputter and miss and basically feel like your riding a bucking horse between 4800rpms and 6000.. then it would clean up and run after it spooled.. once it was in boost it ran ok not great but ok.. We litterally went though everything before we found the problem..

-AEM EMS -No problem
-AEM injector driver box- No problem
-Swapped Fuel injectors- No problem
-All the wiring for the harness's- No problem
-The coil on plug- No problem
-The ignition Box- No problem
-The Spark plugs- No problem
-The Map Sensor- No problem
-The Wastegate- Had a small tear on the seal- otherwise no problem
-Checked for Boost leaks- a few problems at the throttle body.. Fixed those but still had the same issue
-Then after we were just about to give up we changed the cam angle sensor and it fixed it!!

That’s a very impressive power! We can definitely squeeze a bit more out of it!

Side note.. these are Corrected numbers.. uncorrected numbers were 496AWHP.. This is on a superflo dyno in Lakewood, Colorado...

CarzPerformance is in the process of becoming a vendor on here as well and once that happens we will have pictures/ video/ all kinds of stuff up on this site..

I will have updates on the Shop evo as well. Thats going back on the dyno Friday with Vp import to get freshened up.. I'll try to get some video of it as well..

Going up on saturday.. Lucas, Brian, and I are all going and I have set the bar at 10.99 or faster... there should be 3 10second evo's up there dominating the import classes.. All of us have over 600hp and no nitrous!! Should make for some good videos

What a weekend Mark. There is more power in it if we switch over to VP import or C-16 but the price is nice with good ol' E-85.

What a weekend for sure.. Thanks again for all your tune, help, and determination!!

We will have to try out some Vp Import with the 100shot direct port next season for my whip.. For your whip we will wait and see what it'll do on FRIDAY at 40psi!!!!
