just got my car tune but the everytime boost 26 my service light starts blinking??

just got my car tune but everytime i boost 26 my service light starts blinking??
he guys i just got my car tune by jestr he did a great tune but for some reason my engine light starts to blink every time i boost my evo. will be safe for my car??????should i turn the boost down????

Ask Jestr.

Maybe he put the Knock CEL patch in your ROM and you are seeing a little knock.

he told me that whenever that light blinks just stop boosting..... but i will call him asp, i just want to be sure if my car will run safe.

that means youre knocking, which if you just got tuned, you should NOT be seeing.

I would talk to jestr but just because the car is tuned doens't meant it wont ever knock. It really depends on the tune and the environment conditions.

Another thing to consider is if it is considerably colder today or when you are seeing the SES flash, then when you got tuned, you are boosting a little higher because cold air is more dense and makes more power. My car is tuned for 23.5 psi but since the temp has been dropping around here lately I have been hitting 24.5 and getting 3-5 counts of knock at torque peak. Not a big deal in my book since the ECU pulls 1 degree of timing for every 3 counts of knock. It does it's job and I smile as I pull like a freight train!

That means your car is knocking... did you get tuned for that boost level or have to tried to turn it up after the tune?

call jestr and until then stay out of boost. Dont be too concerned. I am sure he would have put a conservative tune on there.
