evo 8 intake heat shield

Anyone know where I can find a heat shild that wil fit the rmr intake? kinda like the AEM intake shield.

Someone needs to take the initiative to produce and sell one. Would be a great $40 item that would cost little to make so the producer could make some money and Evo owners would get a nice heatshield for the RMR intake.

Although again, everyone claims the intake temps dont matter since the turbo cooks the air anyway,

Air temp. to the turbine...yes, but barely noticeable.
Air temp. to the intake manifold is different matter...the cooler the better
Just design heat shield yourself..make template from cardboard and mark proper holes for the pipe, brackets and mounting bolts. then use template to measure out on sheetmetal (easy to bend).
Then cover the thing with heat reflect material or paint with heat refelecting paint. With some time and few mistakes; voila, your very own shield. (or in my case, entire box)

My intake/ heat shield box in the begining. Unpolished sheetmetal It's now covered entirely with heat refelecting material.
