In-tank fuel pump options for evo's?
What high flow fuel pump options are there for evo's wanting to run in-tank pumps, wired up to the oem connector?
I ask, because i will be running E-85 / FP Red soon & want to know what other people are doing to satisfy their hungry evo's?
Any issues with your current high flow set-up your running?
The only decent options i am aware of are:
buschur double pumper
full blown
are there other fuel pumps available that fit the evo directly that out flow the walbro 255lph?
bosch fuel pumps?
What are people running for fuel pressure regulators as well?

Aby, I would strongly consider a twin, parallel Walbro setup. Either the BR or Full Blown setups will do the job. I opted for the Full Blown because I wanted the clean aluminum dual housing assy. I also have dual pumps running full time, delivering proper pressure without necessitating the wiring/installation of a Hobbs switch. This is very easy to do, and I've described how to make it work in another discussion. I recommend using an adjustable FPR if you go this route.

after getting the fueling situated, i will be also in-need of improving my ignition system.
I am considering making a 300m coil set-up with a 1g ignitor....however i have a surplus of carrera gt coils with virtually no miles on them calling my name.....

Both twin pumpers recommend a hobbs switch to switch the second pump on. On AEM with a trigger that would be great but I hate tuning with a hobbs when you aren't doing PSI based tuning.
And buschur reported good things tuning e85 on 1000s and much lower IDCs going from a single to double pumper. If you didn't catch it, 4x1000cc injectors run 240lph which should not max the walboro, but after pressure increases due to the FPR and static pressure that 255lph number starts dropping fast.

The issue with the dual pump setup is that the sheer capacity of the twin pumps tends to overrrun the fuel return eductor orifice, which uses the Bernoulli effect to draw fuel from the secondary part of the tank into the main section (ie. the one with the fuel pickup).
With nothing to address this, FP is excessive at idle, which creates tuning issues. You do not want this.
The conventional solution is to wire and plumb a Hobbs switch. This works just fine, but is an added headache and is something else to potentially go wrong.
I elected to make a quick, simple modification to the eductor that so far, has worked perfectly. It is described here:

To tweak everything, I recommend the use of an adjustable FPR and FP gauge, which of course necessitates an aftermarket rail. If you've done everything correctly, you should be able to set the FP very close to the factory specs at idle.
Finally, I highly advise against using anything but a liquid-filled, shock proof FP gauge. I've had more than one Autometer type eventually vibrate to pieces. The Marshall Instruments gauges are all I use now, and I highly recommend the 0-100psi liquid-filled "Shock Proof" unit either in chrome or black:
