Final #'s for Fulll Functions Evo 40R / 2.1L / E-85

Well after working through some valvetrain issues we made a switch of valve springs and it seemed to cure things

I'll post the before graphs later but for now i'll post the final #'s.

And just for the sake of discussion here is the effect of a restrictive exhaust.

We will re-dyno the car on some sort of race gas at a later date.

Dyno video will be up soon and we should be at the track in the next few weeks.......

Great numbers! If you don't mind me asking, what kind of valve springs gave you trouble?

Mod list:
- 2006 Evo 9 MR
- FFTEC 2.1L de-stroked / sleeved / o-ringed
- FFTEC built head w/ HKS cams
- FFTEC GT40R turbo kit (allows for working a/c)
- FFTEC I/M w/ twin fuel rail design
- FFTEC 75mm TB
- Full Blown twin pump set-up
- 680 cc inj / 1000cc inj
- AEM EMS
- Shep trans (5spd)
- Exedy triple plate

The springs were BC singles that the owner had in there from his older set-up.

Went to a dual spring from Supertech i believe and it worked

The customer wants to drive it around for a while as the car has been in the shop for some time now.........so eventually i think he will swap cams and go to some race fuel to see the ultimate HP#'s as he is not much of a drag racer........however he did give us the green light to bring it up to the strip next week.

Yes spoolin pretty good i must say It is indeed a TS.

The boost pressure will remain a bit hush-hush for now but i can say it's close to the size of the turbo

Very solid numbers. I've been checking out your guys' work and have been impressed. Can we see some engine pics, especially the turbo kit?

Thank you we do our very best with what we have and w/ such limited personel!

Dragracer - I believe the exhaust was an HKS unit that necked down to 2.75" we ended up dynoing it w/ a 3" turndown exiting after the d/p.

Here are some add'l pics for those interested sorry if you've seen them already i can get more specific stuff just ask
