9sec9/OKIX, BUSCHUR RACING, ROUND 3..
You've got it. Last night after setting the Stock Appearing Record, David and I agreed to meet at 9:00am this morning to begin Round 3. After having breakfast, we went to the shop and work immediately began again. That's right, the car was rolled into one of the bays and I started pulling the turbo, manifold, radiator and airbox. Within 45 minutes, the front of the engine was cleaned out and the next step was ready to begin. A hint: Thanks goes to Ron Shearer of Shearer Fabrications for stepping up and sponsoring us with one of his incredibly beautiful exhaust headers. I told Ron that I was willing to buy the manifold but he was very kind in sponsoring the manifold and as you'll see, the results are ...well....out of the stratosphere. At this point, I WILL NOT REVEAL what turbo I'm testing. It's for temporary results and I am not at liberty to disclose what it is. Let's just say it's much, much more power than what we used to run last nights 9.57 et. At this point, I also want to show two good friends, just hanging out together:
Then the OKIX car with todays change. Just a teaser:
Then David got a grip on the car for about 45 minutes and guess what? Something miraculous happened. It busted out a 3rd gear pull of over 700 whp. You got it, That's 7...0...3 whp with 503 wtq. AND THAT WAS WITHOUT TRYING TO TUNE IT AT THAT LEVEL. Much more still there. On Davids' Dyno, there can be a substantial difference between 3rd and 4th gear pulls. David asked me what boost I wanted so we detuned it and it only made the following numbers when compared to our FP-RED that went the 9.57 and 145.16 mph. I wonder what it could do with nearly 200 more Mustang horsepower? This dyno pull is the milder of the tunes, since David will 'complete' the tune at the track on Monday afternoon. I'll let others speculate on the results, but I know what OUR goal will be.

Thank you equinsu-ocha. We may not always know which direction to go next, but eventually something new comes along and you find direction. This next testing could very possibly be something incredible. The car was already built to handle about anything, so all we had to do was change out the manifold and turbo, throw in a DB special tune and the results speak for themselves. We're both tired so we just called it quits early and went to the house. I'll go back to the shop tomorrow just to do some detail work, but for the most part in just 15 hours after we made the record pass, we're already ready to go for something 'special'.

Tom I guess the Wilson Manifolds v2 now has worked on the White, Red, and the mystery turbo. Wow... so many said it could not work and would not make power , but we knew it would all along . Thanks for keeping the faith.
