Aren't you guys worried about metal fragments contaminating the oil and passages?

Lets see 2.3L Evo 8 block turned into an Evo 9 Block 10K miles Ago, hta 35R on it, everything is fully built, I drilled it and cleaned it very well, not a problem at all with anything. I would do it again any day. Then again once you do something once its always easier to do it again. If you have any questions ask away. I drilled the block upside down so all the metal fell to the ground not inside the block, and then I used a small pipe cleaner to clean anything extra when I tapped it. I think the pics explain it well. But if you need anything as I said ask, I am proven to make lots of power and no oil leaks from this setup. I love my car.

Thought I would update this thread. I recently took this car to the track. The mods are 3" TBE, cone filter, MBC, and E85. Also running a walbro 255, and 1200cc injectors. Road tuned by me.

UPDATE AGAIN
I ran an 11.9 @ 115 on fourth of july weekend. New best

Best run was a 12.16 @ 114 with a 1.76 60ty

In my last run I had an intercooler pipe blow off at the end of the track and still ran a 12.14 @ 110 with a 1.72 60ty.

I did cut a 1.68 60 ft earlier, but missed 2nd gear like an idiot.

Again, this is a evo 8 block with an evo 9 head.

Is a checkvalve required if feeding the Mivec passage from the oil filter housing? Looking above at sprx19 posts it doesn't appear so. Looking for clarification.
