So what's the 3 Amigo's drivetrain killing count this summer???

2 clutches
2 transmissions
1 T-case (kinda)
1 rear differential

I think I'm winning, 1 trans rebuild here after 2 years of beating the living day lights out of it.

It was Trents fault anyway, I haven't broke anything..... yet, knock on wood

I don't know.....I think my clutch and t-case rebuild is going to be cheaper than your transmission rebuild.

Al according to the parts guy the diff it's self is different inside. 9sec9 told me this on Monday aswell. From what I was told the rear axles are different where they go into diff... I hear they are bigger?

Steel... the driveshaft looks OK but at say 130ish I do have a horrible vibration so something is wrong with it

someone mentioned cryo treating earlier.my understanding is that cryo treating works on problems with wear(ie brake rotors, bearing surfaces etc.) .if you were to cryo treat the gears for wear but wouldnt help the pinion for strength.actually i think it would make the parts more brittle with the shock loads.please correct me if i am wrong on this.
