I think my wait time so far is right around 6 weeks. Ordered it through BR. When I ordered it there were 13 orders ahead of me. I was told it should ship out early next week at the latest.

Have you heard about the new "FP PURPLE" yet?

 

I ordered mine from Big Al, and it took about 3 or 4 days. Matt, (mugen777) wants it, because I have my turbo, but my car is still in the shop, so he is wanting me to give him mine and I get his when it comes in.

When FP says two weeks what they really mean is about four months.

What's all this talk about porting and coating? porting and coating what? Has there been data on the gains on the porting? I ordered mine last week so I'm hoping I'll get it on Christmas morning..... Seriously if this is a worthwhile mod to the Red then I'll have to call back and ask about it. I don't see anything on their site as far as options on the Red.

Yeah I read that post. I was hoping for a better response though. You could still get it ported somewhere else after you receive it though. I would still like to know the gains on this.

 

Sorry, wasn't sure if you read that post or not since it sounded like you were going to contact them to do it when he stated they weren't offering it anymore. No worries...

As for porting it, I would strongly recommend you get that done as the port work has always shown gains on the stock-framed turbos.
