Yes I did the destroked motor, but I haven't revved it yet, still in breakin limp mode. I wanted something to rev to 10k, but I may just cap it off at 9500 just to increase the life of the motor.

Just curious what kind of spool are you talking about. say 20psi and 30psi? There is so many great turbo choices that have come out just in the past year

Why do you say that?

I dont' think it has much of anything to do with what the OP is describing, nor would any intake manifold for that matter...

You're almost using my setup. What is the A/R of your turbine housing?

Oops, sorry, I see in the original post that it is a 1.00 TS T4. That is a good choice.

I'm still breaking the motor in. So only very low boost with my untuned car. The car is waayyy different from the last setup, so I can't get on it. Just the 1200cc and twin pumps changes alone would kill any tune.

I'm using a 4G64 block from a 3rd Gen 2000 Eclipse. Most of everything else can be used from your evo's 4G63, but there are a couple things you need to get. You'll need a 1994 galant 4G64 DOHC timing belt. Also I got a 4G63 headgasket with my 4G64 bore size. Keep in my if you overbore your block you'll need to get the headgasket bore size the same as your overbore. I know that's obvious, but hey. I got my headgasket at 0.050 thickness. Cometic will treat you right.

You, Mellon and I are not far apart. We'll have to have a little get together sometime soon and compare notes.

LT1runner;6234020]Now my car was faster and pulled it, but man you just can't beat staying in gear. I mean this guy just shifted, made a sandwich, poured a coke, shifted scratched his ***, text messeged, shifted thought about his 401K, watched a you tube video. All that while I was banging gears to from 7500 on the 2.3 ltr.
that really gave me a good one i cant wait to rev out next spring lots of luck with your new set up
