You should throw that thing on a scale when you're done. I'm curious what your final total weight savings is over stock.

Chris, I'd like to see an 8... although I think I'll be tough and really close. Maybe like last year how we were consistent 10.0/10.1... I think we will be chasing the elusive 8 all season. Nonetheless, it will be a grand goal because this car will be out on the street with interior.

Good luck with the project!

I don't know you guys, but from your posts I really like your attitudes and you seem like a great shop. Keep it up.

Thanks alot It's stuff like that that keeps us going!

Thanks to Mike from AWD Motorsports for this beauty of a driveshaft.

That's another 15 pounds gone.

We've got the windshield and rear window out to get ready for the roof... then she's going off for a cage! We'll have it painted it the same factory color as the car.

Looks really naked that way.

The windshield wipers are out and all the brackets and the motor and crap are gone.

OEM seat belts are out and we have a Sparco V seat on it's way for test fitting.

Oh... and we just made the call to have our STM Forward Facing Manifold built to use for this year and we'll be running a full exhaust this year as well (last year it was just a short downturn)... so we may just have a full race kit out there for you all soon. And we may just have a few more tricks up our sleeve for keeping it light and streetable... Maybe.

I'll keep the pictures and updates coming! We have a few more things that should be showing up this week.

Seibon's Dry Carbon Trunk just arrived...

6 lbs?

I like the "dry" finish especially on this car... this color blue is so flashy and pretty, it's hard to make it look bad-***... I think this rear end along with a parachute ought to do the trick!

We'll have one more Seibon piece showing up hopefully before the weekend...

We also have a Seibon carbon lip in stock if Khary doesn't buy it tomorrow!

And the Sparco seat showed up today... after the brackets and all that stuff, we saved only 7 pounds each seat over the stock leather Recaros... BUT the Sparco's have what we'll need for track certification. So it all works out in the end.

I'll get a picture of it installed once they are done. We all like the seat, so we'll order the other one soon and start getting the interior back together.
