Dont know the number but the evo 5 has weaker internals ( pistons , rods and

rodbolt's ) I know this because I have an evo6 which is very similar

Every car is different. Some will handle 30psi no problem, while others have failed at less boost. There is no straight answer. Many run over 23-24psi and have had zero problems though. Just make sure it is tuned..

30psi...It's been said already. Get headstuds if you want to be safe though
