it relates because some 30r's make about the same power as a 35r at boost levels 30psi and less. for example, the 3065r makes about the same power as a standard 35r up to 30psi, then the 35r walks away from it. this has been stated in the past by forced performance. people say the 3065r spools like a 35r, but ive personally seen a 300rpm difference in spool compared to a hta35r (which obviously spools 300 or so rpms faster than a standard 35r, making the 3065r spool about 600 or more rpm's faster) on the same set up, only thing changed was the turbo.
I am just not convinced that the 3076 or the 3071 are relevant anymore after the introductiuon of the Red. Just out of curiosity I´d like to see a direct comparison between the 3065 and the Red swapped out on the same car. It would be interesting to see just how far the Red has pushed the state of the art in bolt-on Evo turbos.

Is the 30R in the comparison a 3076, or a 3071? The neat thing, for me at least, is that the Red´s compressor moves significantly more air than the 3076´s compressor and the Red spools faster, as well. Did I mention that it bolts right up to the stock manifold and DP too?

I have the Green but I long for the Red. I just don't have the cash at the moment. I don't even drive my car anymore until I can get the Red. So, Mike is right. It is, in the following ascending order>the stock IX turbo> then the Red, and then >the HTA 35. Nothing else in between.
