Buschur O2 Housing Fitment Question

Currently thinking of buying a Buschur stock ported and jet coated exhaust manifold and getting their stainless steel fabricated 02 housing to go along with it. Has anyone had any fitment issues with the fabricated 02 housing? I currently have a 3" APS downpipe and don't want to have to change downpipes to get the 02 housing to fit properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is just the Megan piece which should provide for the same fitment as stock (other than the lower heatshield and support mount)

The cost isn't too far off with the Buschur, for the 02 housing is $200 which comes ceramic coated and the exhaust manifold is $195 ported and coated, so actually a good deal. The thing I'm worried about is the 02 fitment between my APS 3" downpipe and Buschur 02 housing. From what Buschur has stated there is no gasket; the 02 housing connection piece actually fits inside their 3" DP and I'm not sure if that will fit in my 3" DP. Also, I'm assuming I can use the OEM gaskets between the 02/manifold and manifold/engine.

No fitment issues with mine. IM using the Megan 3" DP which came with a doghnut gasket.

Maybe you're aware of this and I missed something, but thought I'd bring this up to you...

Buschur prices for those parts are on an "Exchange Basis Only", i.e. you have to send them your original parts and they port and coat them.

Still not bad prices for what they do, but unless you have spares sitting around your ride will be down while they perform the work - not sure of their turnaround time...

Hope this helps...

Get the SS coated o2 housing. Buschur Racing knows how to put cars together, their parts are some of the best around .

Yeah, I was aware of it, Thx. I was gonna go with paying the $350 extra to not send my core in and they'll refund me once I receive their piece and send my original back to them.

Actually if you get the SS fabricated one, there is no core required. Its only if you want yours ported and coated that they need the core. Its $200 for the SS fabricated o2 housing that is coated.

Really?? Now I thought that the Okix World Record Car for the stock appearing turbos uses this housing... I guess there are better parts out there tho

Bottom line you want a fast/powerful street car, you go with BR parts.

AMS recommends the Megan which is a cheap alternative, but the Buschur does look nice as well.
