Fp Red: What's your barometer drop above 7k rpm and what intake are you using

Hey guys,

Like the title says, I would like to know how much drop is your barometer reading showing above 7k rpm and what intake you are using.

On the stock turbo I used to have like 5 to 6 drop (ie 101 to 95.5), but now with the red im getting 8. I'm keeping the stock airbox, but i did cut it on the fender side. It seems not to be enough for the red though. Please share your logs / intake setup.

Tks

I don't know but I'm pretty sure Robert has advised against using the stock intake/box with the RED so you don't overspin it. I have no clue as to why or anything, just passing info along.

You sir are correct, our official position is that the stock air bnox should not be used with the EVORed turbo. The stock airbox will not flow enough air to keep up with the turbocharger, the inlet vacuum will get too high, the turbo will overspeed trying to suck thru the stock airbox. This is well documented, not a theory.

@Robert, thanks a lot for your reply. Is cutting a hole in the airbox lid enough, or should i get an intake system?

Thank you.

ETS intake is great. Sounds mean, although I am having issues trying to get the car to idle correctly (Yes I was tuned for it), when I depress the clutch.
