no idea, I've never intentionally removed one, mine was sucked in by accident.

I have those AC meshes right after the MAF to prevent it from being sucked in.

Fortunately, neither one of the MAF screens were sucked into the turbo, they just shriveled up. Do you have pics of your AC mesh on the MAF?? Where did you get the mesh??

you shouldn't need that. there is a plastic 'grid' that supports the karman-vortex sensor, it acts like shield and catches the honeycomb before it gets sucked threw the turbo.

I think you should driver slower

Isn't there a write up on here about using epoxy to hold it in place? Maybe you should look into that on the next one you get.

Haha, I have been driving very slowly recently. Probably about 4 months now, and getting really sick of it. Yes, you can do that, I was just always skeptical about it for some reason. Not that it wouldn't hold the honey comb in place, just that it would mess with the flow of the MAF. The 3rd time is a charm, I will try it next time.

I had that happen to me once while running a Ams 50trim with Meth. After that I just used Epoxy to glue the honeycomb part down...

Yeah, that's what I'm going to do with the new one.
