Spy Vs. Spy article Dan Bajalis and Jake Montgomery Drag Mitsubishis

Just got wind of our article that just came out from Chris Wold and Tunerzine. I have been out of the scene for a while, making some major changes on the Evo. Well I finally put the finishing touches up with Jake Montgomery's help. While I was in Boise Idaho, we met up with Chris Wold to do some photo's and he wrote up a nice article. Check it out here http://www.tunerzine.com/view_articl...ure/spy-vs-spy

Thanks to my sponsors for helping me get this car going:

Stance Suspension
Shepherd Racing
Tial Sport
JM Fabrications

Both cars are bada$$. It said the Evo has an aluminum exhaust? Al melts at about 900F. Seams I know egts can get as high as 1600. Does it cool that much by the time it gets out of the header?

off the turbo there is a small section of SS, then it is V-banded to an aluminum section of exhaust. It still gets hot, but not melting hot.

I took it out for some test runs, went 9.9 at 160 mph with some synchro issues. Going to hit the track once I get that fixed. It probably won't be till December.

Here is a recent run, as you can see, third gear was being a pain.

I broke the rear LSD in a 3kgt rear differential and also shift linkage popped off and messed up the trans. I got both fixed and went to the track two weeks ago and messed up the 3rd gear synchro again. I never had so many drivetrain problems, but getting them fixed one by one.
