Boost problems

My boost is peaking at 25psi but its dropping way to much and to fast. Its supposed to taper to 21psi but its dropping all the way back to like 12-15psi. What could be causing this, how do i fix it?

Until you do a boost leak and rule that out we really cant help you. Start with a simple boost leak test than report back.

I haven't changed anything but i think there may be an exhaust leak. But wouldn't that cause my boost to not peak where i want it. I want to change my BC to an electronic but its expensive

This is a real possibility. You need to adjust(shorten) the the length of the actuator rod, and check to see that the DV isn't lifting prematurely. In which case you could crush it a wee bit.

My problem is solved. It was my MBC. I changed it out and no more boost loss. Plus checked for an exhaust leak and that came back negative. Thanks everyone for your help.
