What you do is connect a drain line to your fuel return line and let the car run until all the e85 is pumped into a container and then fill up with gas...simple.

E85 is awesome stuff. Car will simply refuse to knock and have to tell yourself to stop throwing more at the tune

I recently tuned an 03Evo8 stock turbo (9.8hotside) with tbe and cams made 363/359 whp/wtq. Car was handling 10-19 degrees of timing on top of 26-27 PSI of boost. He hit the track last weekend and ran a 12.4 @111MPH with a 1.860ft.

I also tuned an 05 WRX on VF22 turbo with similar results, 16-28 degrees of ignition advance on top of 22PSI.

I will find out this weekend how an EVO8 on FPgreen, cams, and E85 tuned to 26-27 PSI do at the track. I'm expecting mid-high 11's at 118-121MPH if he can 60ft.

My car is getting FIC1600cc injectors for the HTA35R this week. I am anticipating that will will make more power on E85 than its current form making 600whp on 110octane.

Do you already have a double pumper....might want to consider if your going big boost on a HTA35

i see people telling people to get 1600cc injectors for 35rs

if i had E85 i would daily it but would have a map switch just incase i wasnt around a E85 station and ran out

my duty cycle was 97% lol i have the AMS 1000hp fuel kit.

with E85 you definitely need 1600cc injectors.

My boost was also falling off 5 PSI at the time, and I am confident with my new AEM boost solenoid that my whp will have gone up like 40/50 whp

I almost decided to do a twin rail running "8" 1000cc injectors. But was advised against it by a few people who tune on E85 often

E85 is awesome, know a couple people running it locally who have nothing but good to say minus being hungry for popcorn after smelling the corn gas cooking.

If your tuned on e85 as other said above you would have to have a second tune for pump gas, when changing fuel you would switch to the map for the fuel your running.

If you were to just pump in 93 on a e85 tune you would run pig rich as e85 requires roughly 30% more fuel than gas generally speaking.

So lets say I have an E-85 tune and I run out of gas in the middle of nowhere... would it be safe to fill it up with 87 or 91 octane just to get the car a few hundred miles home?
