Best LICP & FMIC Setup
#93
When I was in high school, we learned that black objects radiate heat better than silver or polished objects, because with a silver object, the heat actually can be internally reflected by the surface finish. We were also taught that some radiators are painted silver to improve on room aesthetics, which was a big no-no as far as the radiator's function. All of the anodized aluminum that I've seen is black, so I would guess it is an advantage to have an anodized aluminum intercooler. As far as how much difference it makes, I don't know. But making it black seems like a "freebie" to me. No cost to airflow or fitment.
