On the hunt for more power once again, so I need some info on peope running 4088 twin scroll or similar with A/C of course 2.3 or 2.0 more intrested in 2.3 set-up, if you guys have dyno# with boost levels and of course race gas numbers.

Looking to see what kit works best and spools up the fastest that's very important don't wanna be a snail with crazy lag im looking to improve on what I already have right now.

Shark, have you thought about doing the HTA37r?

Al did make about 800whp with it, my car is at Ivey right now and I'm going to be selling my 37r with ~3000 miles on it, you should buy it and send to FP for the hta conversion Hah.

I have been on 850R and to me that turbo is working at the limits with me hitting 42+ psi daily it's just running that turbo too hard especailly on the highway it's not lasting car has killed 2 GT37R ,1 850R , just tired of blowing up turbo's need something bigger than can give me the power im looking for in a lower boost level.

Need a turbo that can handle my foot

Seeing is beliving and I haven't seen nothing yet when I do if I do then maybe but I doubt it, I've seen 38psi and it doesn't give me 700's , for me to make 703awhp I'm at 42+ psi which if alot and I'm on a 2.3 stroker!!!

So there must be something wrong with my car if im not hitting 800awhp at 42psi in a 2.3 !!

You missed a discussion we had here recently, where a longtime member of the DSM community with 2.3L 1G and 4088R with TS T4 in .94 A/R generated 753whp and 700+ ft lbs at 40psi on Q16. He had 40psi by 4200rpm, and needed only an 8k rpm shift point.


We don't know that, and you shouldn't go quoting that figure. We wouldn't know what that car makes until/unless he actually puts the car on a Dynojet, where I expect that figure would be lower.
