my coolant overflow tank cap thingy keeps popping off when I drive... I've recently noticed a little bit of black sticky crap in it?? uhm help.. oh noes?

i too have been noticing a coolant leak in my car. a few days ago i noticed my reservoir was way low and had a blackish look in the bottom of it, radiator still full, so i refilled the tank, i cant see the leak but can see the stains for the antifreeze, they're right below the cam sensor, behind where the intake is coupled to the turbo, any ideas any one?
