Angry Crazy noises under de-acceleration (vid inside)

Well, as the title states I have some crazy noises from what seem to be coming from the rear. It may very well be coming through the drive shaft, I don't know.

It is not the diff. I have a new Maxx Lock diff from TRE installed and it is working great. I wanna believe that it's my TC, but I have no whining what so ever. And most importantly, THIS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN THE CAR IS IN GEAR

I have checked:

Exhaust is held tight by Kartboy bushings
No marks on the driveshaft
Exhaust IS NOT HITTING ANYTHING
Gas Tank covers are secure

Here is the vid, sorry about the quality. Thanks for any and all help.

This might sound crazy but if you think its the driveshaft you should put it on jacks and see if thats where it might be coming from.

I thought it may being reverberated down the drive shaft to the rear. I know the diff is good, what could be making that noise in the rear with it only happening in gear? It has to be drive train related.

what kind of clutch is in your car? Did you recently jus replace it? Or did the noise jus start happening after you installed the rear diff?

Alright here goes....

I bought the car with an Exedy Single in it, I was told it was clutch noise and decided since i do not track the car, just to put in an Exedy Organic. Noise still there.

I was getting horrible vibrations that were accompanied by this noise, and I traced that back to the diff. I replaced the diff, noise still there, vibrations gone. So, the noise was there before the new diff. I have Whiteline Bushings in the rear, and everything is snug.

well not being able to actually be by the car, i would have to think its either the diff in the trans, or the TC since its only on decel. Somthing has abnormal play in it! I have the same noise, but way more pronounced. Its coming from my trans diff only cause i shimmed it wrong when i rebuilt it. I would say if it doesnt bother you, dont worry about it, but thats the way i feal with things, haha others are different..

You have no idea how loud this is. I could not capture the sound with my cam. I'm gonna plunge on an 04 RS TC. I may send this on in first and see what can be done.

You sure it's not your downpipe ratteling? Mine does only on deceleration. It wont if you decel slowly, but if you lift you foot off gas fast or decel from higher rpm then it will do that. Look on your downpipe for any indentions or scraping! Good luck
