rpm raise??

idk if anyone else have this problem but when your on it, and go to shift do the rpms suddenyl rise when you push the clutch in?? or when u get on it in first and push the clutch in do the rise?? i dont understand it. i think its just the way i shift, but sometimes if i shift slow it wont do it. does this happen to anyone else or am i retarted and just push the clutch in to soon.

ive ben driving stick for years and no how to drive i just havent had this happen to me in all my cars except my evo ( not my 03 cobra, 98 cobra, 96 supra)

help??

It could be Idle Stepper Control Valve or a dirty throttle body. I had the same issue, I cleaned the throttle body and bam...problem solved.

does it rise when you are in a complete stop and turn the wheels? do you notice change also when the AC is on?

it might be your Idle control valve, like mentioned above
