Question

koji, I was wondering, after looking at the pictures of the downpipes on rsr.com, how exactly does that downpipe system work? The one that has two inlet pipes that fuse together near the end of the downpipe. http://www.rs-r.com/headers_downpipes.htm how does this setup connect to stock mainfolds, and also, is there going to be an exhaust manifold in the works for the Evo 8? I am very interested in dynos of your products, for comparision to other exhausts. Also, how much does the rsr exhaust weigh in comparison to stock?

Thanks

The 4G63 only has one exhaust manifold and the dp connects to the o2 sensor housing, not the exhaust manifold. The picture you're looking at is not for an EVO. Just an FYI.

Please post a picture of the RSR cat-back on the USDM EVO. Thanks.

Here's a question. Why did you guys put a 2.25" inner diameter muffler on a 3" ID exhaust system?

Yep, my 1997 Eclipse's 3" RSR exhaust has a 2.25" muffler on it.

Another question: When any company claims they are producing a 3" exhaust, are we supposed to assume it's 3" inside diameter?

Thanks 99AllTurbo, makes ALOT more sense knowing that the downpipe shown is not the same as the one for the evo. I am pretty familiar with the inner workings of the evo, and I was just plain puzzled when I saw that pic.
