SBC (South Bend Clutch) Anyone using one?
Just trying to see if anyone has any experiences with an SBC clutch from South Bend Clutch in their evo? I have one in my 390 whp 425 wtq SRT 4 and it's quite honestly the best clutch on the market for that car. Only clutch I could get that would hold the power and not slip (after trying 3 other clutches that were all supposed to do the job and failed)
I need a new clutch for the evo now and looking for good clutch that wont cost $1500 and up. End goal is 400-450 whp.

I purchase an HKS TWIN dick clutch which is really smooth for everyday driving and racing in one. I paid a little under 1600.00. This clutch is crazy. I recommend you getting this one

I have a southbend OFE and LOVE it for a DD. It's very very very near stock pedal pressure, more than any other clutch I've driven, and it will hold torque. I have 30k miles on mine with 300+wtq on dyno dynamics, currently making about 350wtq. I made just shy of 400wtq on a dynojet. I LOVE it BUT, I would never launch on it again. I had one disc fuse to the flywheel when I first installed it, and they seem to be prone to this ![Frown](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
My buddy just installed a Comp Stage 3. Not sure how it'll handle 350+wtq, but he's making just over 300 and launching is not a problem with it. Very impressive clutch/flywheel combo!
