Destroyed 1st to 2nd shift fork

Well the tranny hasn't been pulled yet, I will try to get to it this week but I am 99% positive its the shift fork. Went to slam 2nd and nothing was there, noticed after 1st was gone too. The gears seem as if they are disconnected. Linkage is fine etc... I still have 3, 4, 5, and R

Just curious if this is common amongst these transmissions?

I bang the gears pretty hard in mine and my tranny seems to be holding up.

I had shep trans in my 99 gsx with no problems at all. I will probably go back with him . I know TRE does great work as well, but I could spend a week just trying to get them on the phone. Everytime I called shep answered right on the spot was VERY informative and had my tranny back on my door step in 7 days, now thats service!

Ship it to shep/TRe and have it take care of properly. It would be more of a pain if you messed it up even more.

Really well damn maybe I should give them another shot, of course I haven't tried to contact them in 2 years, lots can change. Nice what fidanza clutch did ya go with?

I also had the 1-2 shift fork go bye-bye ('05 GSR). Almost exactly one year ago actually. Anyways, car was still 100% stock and it was fixed under warranty.

My shift fork broke while racing and my car was stuck in 4th gear the lever would move around but it was in 4th gear. I had Devo Tuning rebuild my trans but to bad there closed now.

I am sure they would just laugh in my face if I tried to get it warrantied.
