I want to add that I personally seen Dan make the harness (from scratch) for my car. I work with cars and wiring all day long and I had nothing negative to say to him on how well he made it, the fit or the finish of the product is

"I took our COP ignition over to AMS and gave it to Martin and told him how to set up the AEM to make it all work."

So your saying other settings need to be changed in the AEM EMS other than selecting CDI under the wizard?

riverside, the AEM had internal problems 2-3 years ago that caused a lot of misfires. Those problems have been addressed directly from AEM and are in their base calibation files they supply with the EMS now.

Nice read.

I also find it pretty silly that Dave has to write a short story to prove his products are capable.

Easiest way to shut people up is to just show them the proven results like AWD motorsports 8 second street car.

Awesome thread Dave! Its nice to learn the full story. And I can also agree that mine works PERFECT 100% of the time! I only get misfires when I go from pump to race gas, throw in the new plugs in its uh oh time!

I agree it is silly.

But, I truly enjoy reading the posts that come from it. In my opinion it's what seperates BR from the rest of the crowd.

Dave and BR crew have a great holiday's and some well deserved time off.

I have never seen a BR COP unit that didn't work. The same cannot be said about the other copycat companies out there.
