My 2.3 sees 40+psi daily, well when ever I'm driving her so far 5000 miles and counting don't know how much longer it's going to last but for now it's going strong.

agreed, all of ours are beat on at the track and still holding up perfectly. I believe I have about 10k on mine!

Its very possible but the problem is most people with built motors build them to push them harder than stock so you cant expect a motor to last 50-100k with 30-40psi of boost and 600+ HP on a daily basis..

My BR motor just hit 6K. Has only seen 27 psi. I haven't even come close to pushig it
yet.

A built engine can last a very long time with proper care. But no matter what's in it or who built it, rpm remains the #1 killer. For a long stroke motor like the 4G63 (and especially the 2.3), one might try refreshing the rod bearings at periodic intervals. So long as oil consumption remains low, leakdown tests remain solid, and journal wear remains virtually nil, that just might be the ticket to maximizing the mileage until the next rebuild.

I have a tobz built BR 2.3 it has over 15k on it and it's still running strong.

These youngsters throw around the term "built motor" so much that "built motor" is meaningless now days.

From my limited reading on built 4g motors (not counting aluminum rod wear if running them -- Someone please correct me if I'm wrong), the peripheral mechanical parts and connecting lines seem to cause problems long before the longblock itself starts having issues in a daily driver configuration, but when it comes to them there's no telling.
