Wideband position???

i had a bung welded onto my downpipe before i heat wrapped it but it looks like i won't be able to get a sensor to fit there bc it looks like the sensor or the wires from the sensor will hit the driveshaft....so the next best thing would be to weld a new bung on the test pipe and as close to the flange as i can but will it matter if the sensor is that close to my cutout? i'm guessing that the sensor could be anywhere in the exhaust since on dynos they usually put the sensor in the tail pipe....but for me its gonna have to be before my cutout so im just wondering if its alright that its that close to the cutout....let me know what you guys think....

just try to keep it above half way , ie from 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock.

this helps in keeping it from splatters of cold liquid junk.

if you do have an open pipe you will not get good readings at idle, in that case try to be a foot or so upstream
