AEM wideband giving weird readings..help

My aem wideband just starting acting weird ever since it started getting really cold and now even warm..still act the same... its reading lean all the time..the reading shows --- and stays there but sometimes would jump to 17.9 and stay there then today jump to 10.1 and stay there... im not really sure what happened..if something shorted or rubbing giving weird readings... i had the connector came off before and the reading was at 14.7 if i remembered... check the connectors and its connected solid...not really sure what happened...

How long has the wideband been installed for? Maybe the sensor has fouled?

Who welded it, The weld could be giving. Mine was doing the same thing and it's because it wasn't welded all that well the first time.

If the weld is good then the o2 could have fouled out if the car was running really rich. I would def check for any exhaust leaks in or round the o2 bung though!

i took everything apart today and found there is corrosion/gfs on one of the pins on the connector...i cleaned both side up with some maf cleaner and tested it....its now stuck at 10:1 and slowly climbing to 18:1 then --- and stays there... so i took the wideband sensor out...the sensor is covered in carbon build up...im guessing its fouled... does aem sell just the sensor? anyone know pricing of it?? and where to get it?

The sensors foul out pretty often, I've had to replace mine a couple times when it only reads really lean or gives really sporadic readings.

Its not the sensor. its the tune. get a pro tune and your sensor should last a little longer. its your exhaust gases that foul out the sensors
