COMP 280 or HKS 264
I have currently HKS 264 Cams I/E I have a friend selling comp 280 cams, I was debating on swapping to the comps.
Has anyone have any experience with both of these cams, and suggestions to swap to the 280 or stay with the 264's?
I am hoping to go meth or FP red this year.
Thanks in advance

More importantly its what isnt pictured. The advertised duration is a very small part of the puzzle. The only truly important measurement is the duration @ .050 as this gives a much better idea of what the ramp rate is and the amount of power a given cam combo is worth.
HKS264s are almost invisible in the car, the comps are noticably lumpy at idle and definitely make more power.

if you are going with comps 280s get springs and retainers, I didn't so now I'm paying for it I got collapse lifters and I bend my valves, rev the car to much and its hard not to do it with the red cause the power never stops so you just wants to keep going n going
that was my first pass with the new set up no traction and hit the rev limiter, did 2 more passes but it was worse, then my valves went out the door, so hopefully my car should be ready this week to try it again
