weird clutch, help!

the clutch is fidanza 2.1, stock resurfaced flywheel has 4,000 miles on it and what i noticed it it was grinding going into 3rd gear but adjusted clutch pedal and went away. but today i was cruising on the freeway and i down shifted to 3rd gear and gunned it and my revs were going up like a slipping clutch, then the same in 4th then again in 5th slipping! and clutch smell, and i am thinking clutch slipping, so then i got off the highway and did a 1-2-3-4-5th pull and no slippage. got back on the highway
in 5th gunning it no slippage from 40-130? why is this happening my actmb7hdss never did this.

There's a good chance you could have adjusted it too high. Lower the engagement a little bit and see if the slipping still occurs

If the clutch pedal is adjusted where engagement is too high the clutch never fully engages and the slipping will cause premature wear.
