A "boom" sound from the exhaust while trying to start usually means something...like either jumped timing on the timing belt or no compression such as blow-torched valves from running excessively lean from your little "whoosh" sound extravaganza. Have the car towed to a garage and have the engine compression checked, you probably melted or broke something vital.

take some pix of what you did under your hood, host them on photobucket, then post them on here. That way we can SEE what is wrong and be able to tell you what to fix. You can even go as far as videoing what the car is doing and post it on streetfire or youtube, then link it to here.

How can you tell your motor isn't blown if you didn't know that disconnecting stuff without knowing what it does is a bad idea???
I'm highly doubting that most of the things you've installed are properly set up (nothing personal, just guessing from your posts)
You could have really messed something up, and before you try to start it 20 more times with whatever is messed up continues to stay that way, you should take it somewhere professional.
