Honestly you could've done a number of things that would cause this. Improper wiring of whatever you put in could short out the ecu and cause it to not start, improper setup of bov causing it to run lean and melt valves/break ringlands could cause it, timing belt jumping a few teeth due to an over rev, disconnecting a major sensor such as the maf or crank angle or cam sensor. There are so many things it could be, and not to sound mean but you honestly lack the mechanical knowledge needed to try and fix whatever it is you did. This car was really not the best choice for you to try and modify without any experience...these car's are not cheap to fix.

Is this a joke???
Because if its not then, SWEET MERCIFUL CRAP!!!!
Do some research lots of it, hit up the newbie section and look up basic performance mods. Return your EVO to the way it was. If your not sure what your doing, then don't do anything.
Keep it basic and you'll be fine. You probably disconnected something vital.
Putting your diverter valve back in place is a good start.

Quick test...
You need Air, Spark, Fuel, and compression for your car to run,
You probably have fuel... check your gas gauge, and them smell the spark plug hole when you take the spark plug out.
Air... you probably have that too, but make sure your MAF sensor is plugged in (its under your air filter box)
Spark... pull off one of the spar plug wires that isn't bolted down, and hold onto the wire while you have someone try to start your car. If you get shocked, then it's working, if not, then you don't have a spark.
