The RED rebuild is $1100 from FP. You can buy a used turbo for between $300 to $400 and it would still run you less than buying it new at $1800 even if you wanted the extra porting and coating. FP does a great job with the rebuilds. So if you have a choice, go with the rebuild. You won't be sorry.

that definatly sounds like a good idea... should idefinatly get the porting done?

well im getting a red rebuild from FP... =) so if i were you just get it from them its pretty cheap... well kinda lol

I say, save yourself the trouble and go with the CBRD BBK turbo instead.

that reminds me i still got to buy the evo 8 to 9 install kit lol turbo been sitting in my room for so long i forgot lol. not even close to installing it yet btw testodu brand new(not rebuilt)!!!! less than 1700shipped way under you figure it out. i always find deals lol thats why it takes me so long to buy parts. there was a thread that was title best deal ever something like that look in there for my pricing

got my 9 turbo today for 200bucks!!! what all do i need for the 9 turbo to fit on my 8? keep in mind i am going to do the buschur ported and coated mani...

and once again does anyone have a website or contact info for FP red?!?!
