GT3076R Problem?

Last thursday i had a gt3076r installed with all the mods in my sig...... put it on the dyno and everything was going great when the tuner tryed to turn up the boost and the number goes down Tuner thaught it was a restriction in airflow to the intake manifold we were all scratching our heads on this one any suggestions on the problem?

Dude, you are going to need to supply way more details than look at my sig and tell me why my car isn't making power.

A short list of info need:

- Manifold and turbo kit.
- What power did your car make before, what has changed since then.
- What dyno, who's dyno, what power does a bone stock evo make on said dyno.
- How much power did you make
- How much boost
- What fuel
- What engine management

That's the short list.

I highly doubt the AMS intercooler is bad. I have one myself along with a couple of friends. You have a good size turbo for the regular intercooler, maybe not the race one. I don't think you with have high pressure drop. I'm a hands on person, I can't trouble shoot unless the car is in front of me.

There's only really 2 reasons your power would go down when you increased your boost....

1) overly retarded timing
2)really rich or really lean.

What afr and timing are you running?
Have you checked the timing on your cams?

Have them perform a compression and leakdown test. Spark plugs??

it's hard for us to make any judgment until you post some graph, of the dyno before and after turning up the boost.

Could be a lot of things...

Might just not have enough spark.

I believe AMS pressure test every single one of their IC before they leave. I highly doubt that is the problem.
