Anyone Running, INJEN HARD PIPES

I was wondering if anyone on here with and evo 8 or 9 is running the injen hard pipes on their evo with an aftermarket blow off valve. I have a friend running these pipes with a Forge BOV and it's not exactly lining up the right way to be setup to recirculate.

Are any of you guys running it to atmosphere? Or did anyone else have this problem? I'm trying to lean away from the atmosphere dump because it will idle lik crap and stall out at low RPM all the time. I personally don;t have experience with this kit so if anyone has input that would be great!

Thanks,
Kenny

i have the upper injen pipe but with the stock bov, you could probably get it to idle fine vta with the right tunner, but if you dont want to risk it just go with the stock 9 bov, it holds boost just fine.

trash? and whats your reasoning behind that? all pipe kits do the same thing except some require a small battery...not alot of gains to be had
Ive been running the whole Injen kit with intake and make great power,,,my biggest improvement was actually throttle response which was most likely from the lower IC pipe...it fits perfect with any OEM type valve..Ive been experimenting with a turbosmart evo valve and it seems to hold all the boost ive thrown at it up to 28psi with minor part throttle flutter and bucking
i guess i need to play with the spring setting a bit but its not as bad as everyone says it is...
with the oem ix valve its butter...i might try that mod to make the oem valve hold to 30psi but dont want to risk trashing it

Hypnotiq
hows that RS working for you
does it hold higher boost levels to 30-35 psi?

I run Injen pipes with Forge RS DV. The reason why it's not aligning for you is because they have 2 types of intake pipes. One has a DV location for use with stock UICP and one has the DV opening to use with Injen UICP. You need the latter. You have the former.

i have a forge rs and the injen pipes, you can spin the part of the bov that needs to be aligned... but make sure u dont loosen the bov.

+1 I got the former and just used a dremel to take off half an inch of piping off the intake recirculated pipette so my Forge could fit.
