I will probably get roasted for this but a few shops told me you can tune it buy taking the drive shaft off another shop told me they raise the front wheel, I would think 4 wheel drive need 4 wheel dyno.

Sure you could try both those approaches. Should you? NO!!. Raising the front wheels would be very dangerous to your car, the person in the car, the equipment around the car, and if somehow it worked your readings wouldn't be accurate. Take the drive shaft off? Really? How much would the labor bill on that be? Also the same issue with accuracy. Both ideas are bad. The real question is which one is worse?

Four wheel dyno or none at all is my suggestion

just dyno on an awd dyno. its not worth the hassle to go around it. And its definitely not worth something happening to your especially jacking half of it up in the air to dyno it

I remember on the dsm's, people would use a welded viscus coupling and convert it to 2wd on the dyno. I wouldnt want to do this.

That is what I thought one of the shops has a 600hp evo they took the rear drive shaft to get its tune but I am way to scared to be doing that with my car. ****y thing for me is my car was tuned in the Washington area I bought it from a bank repo and brought it up to Winnipeg Manitoba Canada I have only been driving it around on low boost dont want to try high boost with out a proper wide band what do you guys think of just tunning on the street. There are no awd dyno here lots of 2 wheel drive dyno its all 600hp fwd hondas and muscle cars I think there is only 3 other evo in manitoba. hey mabey you guys have seen my car before I wish I could find the history on it I am sure it has a stroker motor.
