ATP turbo kits?
#31
since it has been proved to suck so bad show me one dyno sheet were it sucked??? there are plenty of people made good power on atp kits, it all depends on your setup up and your tuner. fpred would be better choice over the atp30r kit for sure but just don't forget the wait on them is like what 2 months.
i have the atp 35r with 63 hot side. i made 415whp at 28 psi boost. it is a good kit with quality parts. some people argue it is not the most efficient turbo out there due to the design of the turbine housing but i love it. the spool is good and you get good power numbers for the money you spend.

Cams are a good idea for ANY turbo, stock 8 all the way up to 45R's.
To the OP, like has been said here, you can get bolt on turbos that will make you very happy. Bolt-on means you don't need a special manifold or kit. Now, you can port the stock manifold, or buy an aftermarket stock frame turbo manifold. An FP Red for example, will run you 600$ less then an ATP kit. You can spend that extra 600$ on cams, or maybe porting your stock manifold and add a good 02 housing, like the EPM 02 Dump. 02 dump/Red/ported with better spool, better resale value if you ever need to, and a lot of flexibility for power.
