Stage 4 6-Puck Competition Clutch: Any Reviews?
I'm just looking to see what the people whom are running the Stage 4 6-Puck Competition Clutches think of them.
Please include the type of driving you do whether it be DD in heavy or light traffic, track days, etc, as well as the amount of power your car makes on whatever dyno.
I'm a pretty firm believer in the "You get what you pay for" theory, but if these clutches are really that great, I might give one a try.

I have a 6 puck ACT clutch and its honestly fine for a DD car. The only down side is this clutch really wants to chatter at low rpm. Its fine if you just give the car a quick rev and release it in that way. Makes reverse a bit of a pain :P
I'll assume this stage 4 clutch will be similar.

I've had the Comp Clutch 6 puck stage 4 from early 2009 until now...Time to change due to upgrading my internals. Hey, why not change the clutch it if I'm in there right? My choice for a new clutch will be the same........... Once this clutch has reahced the break in period, at least 500+ miles, I noticed less chattering and great drivability. Some say 6 puck style clutches dont last very long, but with the kind of driving I do it was reasonable. I would say I've launched about a 100+ times on this clutch and it holds power very well. I 'd estimate to have about 8000more miles until the disc is gone. I would highly recommend this clutch if you are looking for a QUALITY clutch with drivability yet handles power very well. Very good clutch hands down!!!

I have just finished the drive-in period on my Comp stage 4 6-Puck and the driveability is ok.I only drive the car on weekends though, but pulling away is a bit tricky,I have found that if you don't give it too much gas it's fine.
My car's torque on the wheels is 520 NM,and this clutch is amazing. No slippage, grabs hard and no high rpm lock-out issues....
Pulling away on a slight incline is another story...

Side note but I've always hated how people always ask what stage your clutch is like its universal across all clutch makers.
The stage thing is company propaganda/jargon as it relates to your clutch makers products. That being said Competition clutch has been improving their stuff steadily.

Chatters at low speed, and is a pain driving in slow bumper to bumper traffic. Not sure what stage my 6 puck is but it does hold great for running just under 500 torque. Next time i would rather bite the money bullet and go twin disc.
