Boost Gauge. FPR or BOV

Which hose did you -T- into for your Boost Gauge, The Fuel Pressure Line or the Bov to intake manifold line? I hear that if you tap into the FPR line and the hose pops off under boost u can blow up your engine from running to lean? But most people that I have talked to still seem to be running thier gauges from the fuel pressure line. Is there any Pros/Cons to either such as more consistant and accurate readings or quicker response?

I used the fuel pressure line. If you connect everything correctly you shouldn't have to worry about it blowing off.

I would also tap it off the FPR but luckily I have an MR so I simply tapped into the factory boost gauge vacuum line.

I run it off the DV/BOV line. Reasons: If it does come off - no harm done. And you are pulling away a small amount of air from the FPR. If I had a choice on what I would rather pull air away from - its going to be the BOV. The function of the BOV < function of the FPR.

switched sources today from fpr to BOV line and I seem to have more vacuum pressure, other than that no noticable differences
