I guess soon enough some of us will find out how lazy those turbo's are indeed.

That's what I was thinking. Except I was going to say, transient response won't show at all in those conditions. You just put the hammer down and hold it in both dyno and drag. Your upshifts will/should always be in the thick of the powerband. There's no way to see how a turbo will respond under driving conditions with part throttle or downshifts. So I'm guessing with two siilarly sized turbos, a TS is going be faster spool while the single is going to have more peak power. Sharkbite should look for a single scroll for his style of driving.

Try and get ahold of one of those billet 6765's if thats what they are gonna come out as. If those 6765's come out as a TS I will sell my turbo and buy it. Or if there is an option to billet wheel a 4094r then I can think about that

Martin did a test on a twin scroll a while back and was not impressed, he posted the graphs to show that the twin scroll lost top end only making about 100 rpms faster in spool. It was over a year ago and I cannot for the life of me remember which turbo.
With all the testing that AMS has done with turbos and from what you guys are saying about TS, I would think that they would have something good to say about these turbo apps and actually use them on their time attack/customer cars...

I agree, sharkbite should stick with an open scroll app. The extra money can go elsewhere. We all dont have a couple thousand to **** down a toilet just to say your different and/or better than the next evo owner

Both manifolds came from Full race the GT35 was there normal larger runner manifold and the GT4088 was there normal smaller runner TS kit,
Both engines were the same spec, The GT35 car was awsome but the GT40 was even better,
There was no surge and no drop in power band on the TS car.

Maybe I should just wait for that new turbo to come out, the one AMS is messing with then, I can make the same power at a lower boost level. I don't need 800hp......"or maybe I do " I just need a solid every day 700 that's not going to destroy the turbo something running around 36'ish psi.
