4G63 engine
4G63 - 4 Cylinders D 2.0L MFI Turbo DOHC
4G63 - 4 Cylinders F 2.0L MFI Turbo DOHC
is there a difference between these two engines??? The "D" or the "F"..??..?? I have no idea what the different letters could possible mean... maybe its a stupid question and simple answer, but i would like to know. Thanks!

I have never heard of either. Here is some info you may have already seen:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4G63
These are really good:
http://www.projectzerog.com/sirius_engines.shtml
http://www.projectzerog.com/mitsubishi_engines.shtml
The 4G63 engine has been around since the late 70s (albeit in SOHC form) and aside from a few different variations including a diesel unit, "wideblocks", and the obvious 6bolt/7bolt variations, they do not have different codes, as far as I know or have ever read.

I was about to say, he didn't mention where he was getting the specific info from, but it sounds like a computer parts catalog when you look up a specific application and it reads like "4G63 VIN F" or the like. Good call.
