umm without being in teh car, id proabbly ahve to say it engages about half way up?
i can check on my lunch break
i didnt think i drove it wrong, i mean u ise little to none of the gas pedal when im starting off in first, the only time that im "beating" on it is from a roll, on the highway if i step on it and hold it down, my rpms start to go up, then they jump up and come back down a little. im tempted to make a video so that you all understand whats happening.

def make the adjustment first and then see if that improves things; do not prolong it anymore.
chances are if you haven't been riding the slipping clutch for too long, you still have a lil hope.

went to the dealer
and they he (the guy that works on my car) is going to say that theres a defect in the pressure plate. and that hes gonna try to get it warrantied. so it looks like i may be getting a new stock clutch for free. so i guess thats a good deal for now. untill i can save up and get like an exedy twin plate or somthing lke that. i plan on doing injectors and cams and all that fun stuff in the future

It did sound like a defective clutch, your stock clutch should be able to hold onto those ponies.
As far as ACT goes I have heard mostly bad things about them. Poor engagement, poor wear. Who knows I haven't personally owned and when it comes down to replacing mine I'm just going for the exedy stage 1 clutch. Twin disk is just too expensive for me and my car sees more street driving than anything.
When it comes down to chooseing your clutch just think about realiablilty, is it really practical and how does it behave on the street???
Good luck w/ your clutch problem.
Do check out the Evomoto.com website though on how to adjust your clutch. Awsome DIY!

haha more like third!
im just awaiting the phone call. and when/if i do get it, and it is warrantied, ill let everyone know. hopefully ill have that new clutch by friday!
then im not going to drive it hard, at all. and save up every week for that exedy twin! sound like a good idea?
although he was telling me how a clutch was a bad idea, cause you want the clutch to be the weakest link, because its waaay more expensive to fix everything else when it breaks. and he said no doubt if i get a new clutch i WILL blow up my transmission...

blowing up transmission is the results of the driver abusing the clutch pedal in the first place. they're most likely going to take your transmission off, look at the flywheel surface to see if there's irregular heat patterns.

lol, there's a long list of 'em
- riding the clutch
- using the clutch to induce drift (called clutch kick) while rallying
- starting car in higher gears from a stop
- improper downshift rev match
- ...
silly things people do

I really don't think you need to bother with a twin disk clutch. Even with cams the stock clutch should be fine as long as you aren't launching the car and know how to operate a clutch properly which you say you aren't and do know how to do.
