For those with Megan O2 Housing

I broke one bolt while trying to remove the heat shield that covers the OEM O2 housing. Does anybody uses the heat shield after installing their Megan O2 housing? Thanks

No I don't have the heatshield on since the o2 housing has been in there. I think I know what bolt your talking about though because I've heard of this particular bolt that was a pita to get out and most of the time ended up breaking.

One bolt hole on the shield (the lower one) cannot be bolted down to anything after installing the Megan. Therefore it would have the chance to vibrate/rattle. I left mine off after the install.

Moved and no, you do not need to reuse the heat shield.
