They sell it as a universal core so I'm guessing it's not direct fit.

Im straight on buying a universal core,

Im either looking to get a perrin , or an ETS (black) down the line when I buy a 20g evo 9 turbo.

If it's universal there's a good chance it isn't going to fit unless you fabricate brackets and new intercooler piping.

spend your money with dyno proven results, i dont see mishimoto posting up dyno results like AMS,ETS,Buschur do...id rather know what im getting then hope its what i want

i have an ETS for the record 3.5" and it out breathes the stocker awesome and has no feelable pressure loss (never flow tested it) but i would never get another

i know the thread is old but i am wondering if anyone has had a chance to put one of these mishimoto intercoolers on. I wonder how much worse or better they are than stock and other ebay intercoolers.

ETS offers an anodized intercooler. Unless you'd like to be a test dummy for a generic ebay-esque core I suggest you go with ETS.

I wouldn't consider Mishimoto an "ebay" intercooler.

I had one on for a while. Consider this an "unofficial review" if you may, since i never went to the dyno etc etc. For the price like a lot of people have mentioned is a steal. the car did feel more responsive on the throttle over stock. I eventually went with an AMS FMIC.

welds are very nice quality deffinently seems to be good quality. Mishimoto also offers a life time warranty, even in the case of a accident.
