Any thoughts on using the Mobil 1 filter? or just stick with oem/wix/napa?

Wait, let me get this straight. The ad says nothing about *after mail in rebate* anywhere that I could see and the rebate appears to be a stand alone deal.

So...that means we can get 5 qts of Mobil 1, a Mobil 1 Oil filter and only pay $19.99 after rebate (limit 2 per household).

The 29.99 5 qts + filter deal end March 25th before the MIR deal starts April 1st.
Looks like you have to have a receipt dated April 1 – August 31, 2009 to qualify for the $10 MIR.

Don't think you can stack them tho

I run an Advance Auto Parts in Vermont, we run synthetic oil change specials every month.that sale is going on right now, mobil 1 filters are among the top 3 filters out right now, if you thing about it the oil filter retails at 12.99 each, and the Mobil 1 EP 10w30/5w30 retails for 8.69.so you save 26.50....

Yep Saw it and had to share as I am going to be stocking up.
What are the top filters?
I have run a few different filters on mine, namely Wix, Napa, OEM, and the little tiny K&N filter which I really didn't like

i use mobile 1 m110 oil filter. so with this deal it has to be a mobile 1 oil filter?

the stock mitsu filter is the best oil filter for our car (evo) its been tested before, plus the mobile 1 filters are half the size of the stock filter so that means half the filtering capacity

The Mobil filter is just as good! This is a deal! I stacked up last summer when Autozone had the sale, and bought $300 worth. Haven't purchase oil since.
